SUMITOMO gear pump is a rotary pump that transfers liquid or
supercharges it by changing and moving the working volume formed
between the pump cylinder and the meshing gear. Two closed Spaces
are formed by two gears, the pump body and the front and rear
covers. When the gears rotate, the volume of the space on the side
of the gear detach will increase from small to large, forming a
vacuum, and the liquid will be sucked in. The volume of the space
on the meshing side of the gear will decrease from large to small,
while the liquid will be squeezed into the pipeline. The suction
and discharge cavities are separated by the meshing lines of the
two gears. Gear pump outlet pressure completely depends on the size
of the pump source resistance.
The concept of gear pump is very simple, that is, its most basic
form is two of the same size gear meshing and rotating each other
in a tight fit shell, the interior of the shell is similar to the
"8" shape, two gear installed in the inside, the outside diameter
of the gear and the two sides of the shell closely match. The
material from the extruder enters the middle of the two gears at
the suction inlet, fills the space, moves along the shell as the
