Pressure sensor is the most widely used kind of sensor, it is the
detection of gas, liquid, solid and other materials between the
general term of the influence force energy, also includes the
measurement of pressure higher than the pressure gauge and the
measurement of lower than the pressure gauge. There are many kinds
of force sensors. The traditional measurement method is to express
the deformation and displacement of elastic elements. With the
development of microelectronic technology, the piezoresistive
effect and excellent elasticity of semiconductor materials are
applied to develop semiconductor force sensors, which are mainly
silicon piezoresistive and capacitive. They have the advantages of
small size, light weight and high sensitivity, and are widely used
by semiconductor force sensors. When a semiconductor is stressed
upwards on a crystal, its resistivity changes inevitably. The
resistivity changes and stress the mutual relationship between
conductors called a semiconductor piezoresistive effect, the effect
of mechanical quantity sensor called a piezoresistive type made of
force sensor, it has two types, one kind is the semiconductor
strain gauge sensor made of paste on the elastic element, called
paste piezoresistive sensor type, another kind is the substrate of
semiconductor material made of integrated circuit technology
diffusion resistance, make the strain gauge sensor, with the whole
of silicon substrate to form the same type called diffusion
piezoresistive sensor. It is characterized by high sensitivity,
high precision, small volume, light weight, high working frequency,
simple structure, reliable operation and long service life.
