Processing of Mucticyclone ;
By using a counter-current flow principle, the amount of fresh
water used is small. After this multi-stage process, almost all
contaminants are washed out. Hydrocyclones are used in the washing
stage. Applications of the Hydro Cyclone unit are concentration,
peeler starch recovery and refining and washing of suspensions
Applications:
1. Starch washing, refining and protein separation
2. Starch concentration and a good substitution for disc separator
3. A-starch and B-starch separation in wheat starch line
4. A-starch, B-starch and gluten separation (Hydro cyclone method)
5. Starch recovery in corn starch line.
