Titanium Wire is slivery metal with excellent properties. Density
is 4.54g/cm³ lighter than Steel. But mechanical strength is higher
than Steel, 2 times stronger than Aluminium, 5 times stronger than
Magnesium. Pure Titanium Wire is high temperature resistance and
melting point is 1942K.
TIG Welding titanium wire, also known as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
(GTAW), is a process that joins metals by heating them with an arc
between a tungsten electrode (non-consumable) and the work piece. The process is used with a shielding gas and may also be used with
the addition of filler metal.
The difference between the two is the way the arc is used. MIG (metal inert gas) welding uses a feed wire that constantly
moves through the gun to create the spark, then melts to form the
weld. TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding uses long rods to fuse two metals
directly together
