IE2 Motor Description
Three-phase asynchronous motors can be considered the most reliable
electrical machines: they carry out their function for many years
with reduced maintenance and adapt themselves to different
performances according to the requirements of both production and
service applications.
A.C. motors significantly impact the total energy operation cost
for industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings. Today, the
primary factor influencing the motor industry is energy efficiency
driven by increasingly demanding legislation and greater awareness
of green issue responsibilities. Premium Efficiency and
High-Efficiency 3-phase Motors meeting the requirements of IE3 and
IE2 efficiency levels following IEC 60034-30-1:2014 and test method
IEC 60034-2-1;2007. There is an emphasis on reducing the operating
cost or weight and size of the motors.
Their applications are fit in the most different industrial
sectors, such as food, chemical, metallurgical industries, paper
factories, or water treatment and extractive systems. The
applications concern the equipment with machine components running
at a fixed or variable speed, such as lifting systems as lifts or
suitable hoists, transporting systems like conveyors, ventilation
and air conditioning installations, without forgetting the most
typical use with pumps and compressors.

Three-phase asynchronous motors have higher operating efficiency

speed from no-load to the full-load range and can meet the
transmission requirements of most industrial and agricultural
production machinery. Asynchronous motors are widely used in
machine tools, water pumps, blowers, and compressors.
Operating conditions Ambient temperature: -15°C~40°C Altitude: Altitude should be higher than 1000 meters above sea
level. Rated voltage: 380V,400V,415V,440V. Rated frequency: 50Hz,60Hz. Connection: Y Star-connection for 3kw or less whereas and
delta-connection. Duty/Rating: Continuous (S1) Insulation class: F, the temperature rise of the stator winding is
examined at 80K (by resistance method). Protection class: IP55. Cooling method: IC411.
