DLT series bitumen melting machine, without self heating system, which consists of melting tank, sliding supporting platform and electrical apparatus control system. The asphalt melting tank is divided into two chambers. The upper one is melting chamber for barrel bitumen, the heating coil exchange heat with asphalt barrel in radiation way to achieve the purpose of asphalt melting. The lower chamber keeps up heating to bitumen to reach the temperature of suction pump(100 degree), then the bitumen pump pumps the bitumen into bitumen storage tank, if increasing the heating time, you can get higher temperature.

Bitumen drum melter components

The equipment mainly consists of melting tank, lifting system, tipping devices, asphalt drum plate, dripping asphalt collect system, hydraulic propulsion system, thermal oil heating system, bitumen pump, pipe system, and electric control system.

Working principle

The equipment adopts automatic spring door sealed box structure. The drum is lifted by electrical hoisting. The hydraulic propeller pushes drum plate into the melter, and using the hot thermal oil from external boiler as the heating source.

Continuous production one full drum in and one empty drum out from the other end.

Features

1. Integrated structure with inner thermal oil coils, heat transfer oil system and barrel lifting and tipping device as one unit, save space and transportation cost and highly improve the heating efficiency.

2. The bitumen barrel tipping device turn over the bitumen barrel bottom up on the rails plate, which can avoid the waste and pollution while happens on the way to the rail.

3. Exhaust from thermal oil furnace is used again, high energy utilization, which save the energy and protect the environment. Also the hot exhaust's temperature is higher than the heat transfer oil, when the hot exhaust blows to the barrel bitumen directly, and the heating speed is much faster. The heated bitumen outflow from the barrel fast and there is no residue.

4. The bitumen from the barrel directly drops into melter container, and will be heated continuously.

5. Nice dehydration property, high duty bitumen pump draws the bitumen from one end to the other end, the steam spill in the process, and the bitumen is ready for use in the asphalt distributor or asphalt mixing plant.

6. Automatic impurity removal function, the bitumen pipeline is equipped with filter to remove the impurity in the bitumen.

7. Bitumen storage tank equipped with liquid audible and visual alarm, which helps avoid overflowing.

8. Integrated structure, nice appearance and stable performance, small floor space required, easy for transport and installation, suitable for any working conditions.
