parts, for example, taper rods and taper bits, using the taper
method. Sometimes it's the other way around, threaded connections.
This means that different parts can be threaded together. So we say
bit tail, joint sleeve, joint rod, thread cross bit and thread
column tooth bit are threaded drilling products.
The bit tail is used to transfer power between the rock drill and
the drill pipe. One end is connected to the drill, the other end is
connected to the drill pipe, in this way, the power from the drill
to the drill bit, the rock is cut off. In the world, there are
different drill, so different drill tail is effective; Like atlas
copco, Tom rock, Ingersoll rand and so on, and the same drill, due
to different applications, drill tail has different lengths and

In order to correctly use the shank end and ensure the normal wear
and failure of the shank end, the following points should be noted:
1. Select qualified brazing tail: ensure the size of brazing tail
and rock drill, and ensure the good fit between brazing tail thread
and joint sleeve;
2. Select the normal working parameters of the rock drill: for the
rock drill whose parameters (impact pressure, impact power, impact
frequency, propulsion force and rotation speed) are adjustable, it
is necessary to ensure that the large impact work corresponds to
the large size of the drill rod, and the small impact work
corresponds to the small size of the drill rod; otherwise, it is
easy to cause the early failure of the drill tail and supporting
tools;
3. Before each shift (or regularly), special inspection should be
carried out on the bit tail to see if there is any phenomenon of
blasting and piling on the top, whether there is any crack or
serious thread wear. The above situation should be replaced in
time.
