General introduction of RY series thermal fuse:
RY series thermal fuse has a certain range of temperature setting
and bearing capacity to select. When the device is not working
properly and will reach to the set max temperature, then the
thermal fuse will cut off circuit to prevent security incidents
arise. It certified products by global authoritative institutions
Thermal fuse mainly used in home appliances and industrial
equipment overheating protector.

1 Rated Voltage(Ur):Max working voltage that the cutoff can withstand

3 Rated function Temperature(TF): The thermal-links shall be exposed in the test oven or oil bath,
to Tf-12K or as declared by the manufacturer, but not higher than
2K below the lowest tolerance. Then, the ambient temperature should
be stabilized for 10 minutes. After that, increasing the
temperature at the speed of 0.5°C/min until the thermal-links cuts off the circuit. The test current
should be ≤10mA. Then the temperature is Tf, its function
temperature. According to IEC60691, thermal link has to trip off
inside the tolerance of +0/-10°C.(If use PSE standard, the tolerance is +/-7°C).
4 Holding temperature(TH): When rated current flow through thermal link, it should be
maintained at a temperature for 168 hours no changing the
electrical conductivity. The maximum value of this temperature is
called holding temperature. The normal working temperature we
suggest is TF-25°C, at the same time, less than 200°C.
5 Maximum temperature(TM):The temperature that thermal link can maintain 10 minutes without
re-connection of circuit. At the same time, double voltage shall be
imposed. During this period, no re-functioning, flashover or
breakdown shall happen.
