Description
A slewing bearing or slew ring drive is a rotational
rolling-element bearing that can typically supports a heavy load
but slow-turning. It is often used in a horizontal platform such as
a conventional crane, a swing yarder, or the wind-facing platform
of a horizontal-axis windmill.
