Vapour Liquid Separator Stainless Drawer Type Demister Mist Eliminator


Stainless steel wire mesh demister is a kind of vapor liquid separation device. When the gas passes through the mesh pad, the mist entrained can be eliminated. The drawer type wire mesh demister is constructed by several sections of demister pad. They are installed into the column by slideway. It is convenient for maintenance and replacement, which can be done from outside of the column.

The weight of demisters is calculated and estimated based on stainless steel material.The diameter means the inner diameter of tower or column the drawer type demister to be installed in.

The applicable gas velocity of demister (calculated by the effective cross-sectional area of gas passing through the demister): 2.5-4.5 m / s; the appropriate gas velocity for sulfuric acid industry is 3-4 m / s.

The user can choose one layer or two layers of drawer type wire mesh demister according to technical requirement. When two layers of demisters are needed, the wire mesh pad should be in accordance with the principle of increasing mesh density from top to bottom. There also should be a certain distance between two layers of wire mesh demisters. Usually it is recommended to be 450mm when the tower inner diameter is less than 1000mm, and 600mm when the tower inner diameter is bigger than 1200mm.
The length of single piece of demister is recommended to be less than 1400mm. When the tower inner diameter requires a length over 1400mm, the single piece of demister pad can be devided into shorter sections, connected with hooks when installation.
