Function

The extruder& spheronizer mainly applied in pellets production process, using rotary screw rod to extruding the wet material out of spheral screen, the extruded strips drop into the spheronizer disk plate, then strips divide and roll on the rotary disk plate by centrifugal force of the high speed rotary disk plate, and finally it become round and solid pellets.

compared other ways of making pellets, extruding and spheronizing technique has following features:

- the whole process executed in a wet status without dust rise.

- product yield beyond 99%, with small particle size distribution, qualified product above 90%.

- finished pellets have good roundness and strength, the density can reach more than 0.8g/cm3. Especially good for coating on the pellets to make controlled-release drugs.

- the pellets have good drug loading capacity, it have wide drug loading range

- it is easily to mix the incompatible active contents.

- the loss of zymin can be reduced less than 10% during enzymic preparation

- high efficiency, low cost and low labor intensity

- good process reproducibility, parameterization process procedure, easy to control and manage.
