LC Short Boot Connector
The LC short boot connector is a popular fiber optic cable
component when it comes to limited space. By using the LC short
boot connectors, the body is greatly reduced and allows it to to
fit in the smallest of spaces. Our standard LC connector measures
28mm and our LC short boot connector is 50% shorter at 14mm. We
offer a full family of fiber optic patch cables that utilize these
LC short boot connectors in various colors and diameters. Some
examples of high density applications that make it necessary to use
these LC short boot connectors are in telephone company central
offices, CATV head-ends, inter-building backbones and customer
premise applications.
Yes, a standard LC connector is already a compact connector, but
sometimes when you use them in cabinets, you may still find the
connector body is too long since most cabinets are usually fairly
shallow. If the connector is too long the cabinet doors cannot be
closed properly. Our LC short boot to LC short boot fiber optic
patch cables were created to solve this problem.
SC Mini Boot Connector
Similar to the LC short boot, our SC mini boot reduces the length
of our standard SC connector while maintaining superior cable
support and bend radius as compared to the design of a traditional
boot. Both the LC short boot and the SC mini boot maintain a
flexible and compact design that supports industry demanding
standards.
