The so-called diamond concentration refers to the density of diamond distributed in the working layer matrix (i.e. the weight of diamond contained in the unit area).The specification states that the concentration of 4.4 carats of diamond per cubic centimeter of working matrix shall be 100% and that of 3.3 carats of diamond shall be 75%.The volume concentration represents the volume of the diamond in the lump, and it is specified that the concentration is 100% when the volume of the diamond is 1/4 of the total volume.Increasing the concentration of diamond can prolong the life of the saw blade, because increasing the concentration reduces the average cutting force per diamond grain.However, increasing the concentration inevitably increases the cost of the saw blade, so there is an economical concentration, which increases with the increase of the cutting rate.
