Chenille is a fabric made with silk thread used in combination with wool or cotton and sewn in tightly woven loops to give a three dimensional look. The way we manufacture our chenille patches is by using a combination of chenille background with embroidered thread for the details. For border choices on your chenille patches we can use either a traditional embroidery outline border, thick fuzzy chenille border, or a laser cut felt border. Most chenille patches are done with a standard felt cut border on their finished chenille product. Chenille patches are most commonly used on varsity jackets or letterman jackets, as well as cheer leading sweaters and uniforms.
