3D Elbow
According to the elbow radius, the basic type is LR & SR buttweld
elbow, and 3D Elbow, 5D elbow, 10D elbow are also regular elbow
types. Generally speaking, the larger radius elbows are suitable
for solid conveying pipes with great resistance.
Elbow degree also have many options, the commonly used types are 45
degree elbow, 90 degree elbow and 180 degree elbow, as well as some
special degree elbows are available.

Buttweld Elbow Weight Calculation
There are two ways for elbow weight calculation, one is using the
formula, the other is using weight chart. Both way have their
advantages and weaknesses.
Formula:
● You can get a precise answer but the calculation is complicated
W=0.0387 * S( D – S ) * R / 1000
W = Weight (kg/piece).
S = Thickness Schedule.
D = Nominal Diameter.
R= Radius.
