Working Principle:
Gripper is a complex piece of hardware that allows an electrician
to adjust the height of the fixture without the use of tools. As
the cable slides over the clamp, the three balls in the plunger and
clamp surround the outer diameter and grasp the cable as it passes
through the clamp. When installed and applying weight to the clamp,
the tension forces the ball to grasp the cable in a clamping
motion.
