Description
RUI-HE 9240-40® is a kind of two-component liquid silicone rubber
for injection molding processes, consisted of part A and part B. It
can be used to produce the production of trademarks and can be used
for pressure cloth, pressure made trademark, or for the printing
and the same kind of silicone adhesive with fast curing, strong
adhesion, good flow performance and excellent thermal stability.
All LSR are platinum cured (vulcanized) materials which are mixed
in a 10 : 1 ratio by weight.

Applications
Because of the outstanding properties 9240-40® liquid silicone
rubber is particularly suitable for the production of silicone
rubber garment signs. It can be uesd as a trademark separately, and
can also be used for pressing cloth, pressing leather and metal,
paper, plastic, glass, leather and other trademarks and anti-slip
coating.

Packaging & Storage
Available in 20kg pails or 200kg drums.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, use it within 12
months from the day of manufacture.
Notice
This product cannot be contacted with compounds containing N, P, S
to avoid affecting the catalytic effect of platinum.
Tips
Q: How many kgs of silicone I need to make a mold, like 1m*1m?
A: First, you change the "m" to "cm". Then the
V(volume)=100cm(length)*100cm(width)*1.5cm(height or thickness)
=15000cm3
→ the density of the liquid silicone is 1.1g/cm3→ the quantity= 15000cm3* 1.1g/cm3=16500g(16.5kg)
Q: How can I know the thickness of the silicone mold?
A: For the pouring way, if you do not have a plaster have a base to
keep its shape (like square), then we usually suggest that 2-3cm is
enough. If yes, then 1-1.5 cm is enough.
Q: Why is there not enough 25kgs silicone in the drum?
A: V=m/p. because the different of the silicone viscosity, so there
will be a little difference. When the viscosity is lower, there
will be 26kgs or more. In contrast, there will be 24kgs or little.
