Buttweld Pipe Tee

Butt weld tee has butt weld pipe end to connect pipes. It has large dimension ranges from 1/2” to 80”, wall thickness is expressed by schedule 10, 20, STD, 40, XS, 80 ……

Buttweld is the most popular connection way in pipe system, it provide a strong and stable connection and is useful for convey gas, fluid medium.

Based on the produce technique, butt weld tee also divided into seamless tee and welded tee. Seamless tee is made of seamless pipes, and welded tee is mostly made by steel plates.

Socket Weld Tee

Socket weld tee can be replaced butt weld tee in small diameter pipe system within 4 inches. It has great leak-proof and easier to be operated. The dimension ranges for socket weld tees are 1/8” to 4, wall thickness is expressed by class 3000, 6000. As forged steel pipe fittings, the row material of socket weld tee is the same as threaded tee.

Threaded Tee

Threaded Tee has female thread at three outlets to connect with pipes with male threads. It has advantages of easy usage and quick installation, but the leak proof is not as good as welding fittings. The thread type is different based on different produce standards, the most common used thread are NPT and BSP.

Reducing Tee

Reducing tee has different sizes outlet, usually the branch outlet is smaller than the main outlet.

Equal Tee

The basic steel pipe tee type that has three outlet in the same sizes. Butt weld tee, socket weld tee and threaded tee are all available in reducing and equal type.
