This machine is a self-propelled aerial work platform on top of an elevating scissor arm mechanism. The lift's intended purpose is to position personnel with their tools and supplies at positions above ground level. The machine can be used to reach work areas located above machinery or equipment positioned at ground level.

Electric Work Platform, in general, are powered by diesel for rough terrain applications, or electric-powered, zero-emission versions with non-marking tyres for indoor use or sensitive environments. Operated on battery power and offer a longer runtime, but can be equipped with an on-board diesel generator that kicks in to recharge the batteries on worksites where exhaust is acceptable.
