Expanded wire metal is made from sheets of solid metal that are uniformly slit and stretched to create diamondshaped openings. It can be made from a wide range of materials, chiefly expanded steel mesh, aluminum expanded metal mesh,expanded stainless steel, expanded nickel and other metal , as steel reinforcement materials in petroleum, chemical industry and building decorations. Thickness available from 0.5mm to 8mm.

Expanded metal mesh is widely used as reinforcement in the construction industry, roads, bridges and civil building. It also can be used in outer wall decoration and chemical industry, as window screen, filter, etc

Expanded metal mesh is a form of metal stock made by stretching a metal plate in a press, so that the metal expands, leaving diamond-shaped hole surrounded by interlinked bars of the metal.
