PVC Coated Hexagonal Gabion Box For Erosion Control / Gabion Mattress

Gabions is made of double twisted hexagonal woven steel wire mesh, as per ASTM A975-97. Gabions are filled with stones at the project site to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures such as retaining walls, channel linings, and weirs for erosion control projects.

We wrap PVC protection layer on the surface of galvanized steel wire, and then weave it into hexagonal wire netting include all specification. This PVC protection layer can strength the protection against high pollution environment. Meanwhile we can choose different colors in order to match it with the surrounding environment.

Gabion Basket
A twisted hexagonal mesh container of variable sizes, uniformly partitioned into internal cells, filled with stone at the project toform flexible, permeable, monolithic structures such as retaining walls, sea wall, channel linings, revetments, and weirs for erosion control projects.

Gabion Mattress
Double Twisted wire mesh container uniformly partitioned into internal cells with relatively small height inrelation to other dimensions, having smaller mesh openings than the mesh used for gabion basket, gabion mattresses are generally used for riverbank protection and channel linings.

Features and advantages of PVC coated gabions

PVC coated gabions can bear the strong depressions and extruding force and keep its shape.
Gabion are easy enough to install that no experience is necessary to get a good result.
PVC coated gabions is better in corrosion resistance, anti oxidation, durability,
PVC coated gabion is more beautiful than the non-PVC coated.

If you want use the PVC coated gabion in retaining wall, channel linings and slope protection applications, you may need the higher gabions, you can choose the PVC coated gabion box, which has maximum 1.5 meter height. If you need higher, just pile the 1 meter height gabions up for protection.

If you need more flexible PVC coated gabions to be used in coastal protection, river bank protection and other project, which need the lower gabions, you can choose the PVC coated gabion mattress. The maximum height of gabion mattress is 0.5 meter and minimum height can be 0.17 m. It is more flexible and easy to operating during using.
