Description
SLA technology adopts UV laser to irradiate thin layer liquid
photosensitive resin to form 3D molds with arbitrary complex shape.
The liquid photosensitive resin layer can be 0.07mm. With the help
of CAM or CAD software, UV laser is used to draw a pre-programmed
design or shape on surface of the photopolymer vat. Photopolymers
are sensitive to ultraviolet light, so the resin is photochemical
solidified and forms a single layer of desired 3D object. This
process is repeated for each layer of the design until completed.
The system can be more precise precision comparing with the rapid
prototype technology to produce more precise molds specially used
for jewelry, dentist, casting etc.
