1. Product Introduction

CBT-Y series of polyethylene cold applied tape is made of a polyethylene backing, coated with a layer of a proprietary formulation based on butyl rubber. The installed product provides outstanding adhesion and elastic properties. It is highly adaptive to forces caused by changes in temperature and soil stress creep. They have excellent anti-aging and UV resistance properties. The high tensile strength and elongation of the backing material offers superior mechanical protection. It perform very well in corrosion protection and repair of pipelines, storage tanks and irregular shapes like flanges, tees, bends, elbows etc.
