Description

1550nm EDFA’s are robust, high performance optical amplifiers designed for CATV and FTTx networks

The 1550nm optical amplifier has an output range of 10 to 26dBm at the operating wavelengths of 1530 to 1565nm. The highly stable output power is maintained and controlled with ATC (Automatic Temperature Control) and APC (Automatic Power Control) to ensure constant and precise distribution of power over each individual optical port. A special temperature control circuit and superior air flow system greatly enhances heat dissipation and reduce theoverall power consumption by as much as 30%.

Power supply options are available in single and dual 110/220V AC and -48V DC. The intelligent network management system interfaces with Ethernet RJ45, RS485, RS232, and the open MIB for connectivity with all other network management systems.
