PA66 Description

PA66 (Polyamide 66), is the largest, most diverse and most versatile variety of the five engineering plastics, and translucent or opaque crystalline polymer. The density is between 1.12 and 1.14.

Compared with PA6, PA66 is more widely used in the automotive industry, instrument housings and other products that require high impact resistance and high strength requirements. Specifically used in the manufacture of mechanical, automotive, chemical and electrical components, such as gears, rollers, pulleys, rollers, impellers in the pump body, fan blades, high pressure seals, valve seats, gaskets, bushings, various handles , support frame, inner layer of wire package, etc.

PA66 Features

1. It has excellent mechanical properties, high strength, high toughness.

2. The material has excellent coloring ability, can achieve various requirements of color matching

3. The shrinkage rate of PA66 is between 1% and 2%. The addition of glass fiber additives can reduce the shrinkage rate to 0.2%~1%. The shrinkage ratio is large in the flow direction and in the direction perpendicular to the flow direction.

4. PA66 is resistant to many solvents, but is less resistant to acids and other chlorinating agents.

5. PA66 excellent flame retardant performance, by adding different flame retardants can achieve different levels of flame retardant effect.

Introduction of Our PA66GF25 Granules:

Our PA66GF25 granules is special material for heat insulation profiles. It's extrusion grade modified plastics. It is different from PA66 resin.

Our PA66GF25 granules is reinforced by 25% glass fiber.

Application:
Specially used in thermal break strips, thermal bridge, heat insulation bar, etc.
