INTRODUCTION

• Laser displacement sensor is a system that can calculate the distance of a target by the laser beam. The laser beam emitted by the sensor, then be reflected back by object to the imaging displacement on the PSD (photosensitive position device) or linear CCD inside the sensor.

• Laser displacement sensor is mainly used for short-distance, high-precision measurement. Its measurement accuracy can reach to 1 micron, resolution to 0.1 micron, and full-scale linearity to 0.1%.
• The laser displacement sensor can realize non-contact measurement on the position, displacement and other changes of the object. It is mainly used to measure the geometrical quantities such as displacement, thickness, vibration, distance and diameter of the object, and also including the bending, deformation, flatness, and slope of the object.
