1800W Submersible Ultrasonic Transducer Cleaner In Producing Wine / Olive Oil

1800W Customized Submersible Ultrasonic Cleaner In Producing Wine And Olive Oil

    Introduction
Ultrasonic energy has been used for a wide variety of applications in industry, medicine and science. In the analytical chemistry Reld, most applications lie in the ability of ultrasound to extract compounds from the solid matrix. Solid}liquid extraction with the use of ultrasonic energy (i.e. ultrasound-assisted extraction) has been successfully applied for many years as a sample pretreatment method to extract organic compounds from matrices to which they are weakly bound (e.g. environmental samples). Sonication methods have been compared to other methods for pretreatment of solid samples (e.g. Soxhlet extraction, accelerated solvent extraction and supercritical Suid extraction), being competitive to them owing to its simplicity, efRciency and ease of use. Moreover, sonication methods do not involve the use of high temperatures, pressures or concentrated and harmful chemicals.

Usually, ultrasound has been applied to the sample with the use of ultrasonic cleaning
baths. Ultrasonic cleaning baths are readily available, large numbers of samples can be simultaneously
treated and low-cost instrumentation is involved, but they lack the capability of transmitting sufRcient ultrasonic power to produce the desired effects on the sample.

How do I get the best ultrasonic cleaning?

There are many considerations important to ultrasonic cleaning. Optimising these variables will produce the best cleaning. The most important decisions to be made are choosing the proper cleaning solution, cleaning at the right temperature for the correct amount of time, and choosing the right size and type of ultrasonic cleaner.

    Immersible Transducers (Submersible)
Ultrasonic transducer elements sealed in a liquid-tight housing are an option to transducer elements permanently bonded to the side or bottom of a cleaning tank.
The major benefits of immersible ultrasonic transducers are that they are easy to service and can be added to existing equipment, often without extensive tank modifications.
This includes standard individual frequencies from 25 kHz to 270 kHz as well as multiple frequencies in a single or multiple units.

Ultrasonics immersible tranducers are intended to withstand the abuse unavoidable in a heavy industrial environment. Standard units are constructed of heavy gauge 316L stainless steel with other materials available for use in challenging process applications.
Units are pre-tested prior to sealing to assure that all transducer elements are performing exactly to specification. Once sealed by full penetration welding, the finished units are function tested in liquid for a minimum of 24 hours prior to shipping.

immersible ultrasonic transducers are powered by AG Sonic proprietary ultrasonic generators. In installations of large numbers of transducers, Ultrasonics generators can each provide up to 2,000 watts of ultrasonic power each reducing the number of generators required by as much as half. Multiple generators can be integrated in a common electrical enclosure. Cooling and environmental protection can be included if required.

Immersible ultrasonic transducers do not require attachment to the tank (other than to hold them in position) to function efficiently. As a result, transducers can be moved from tank to tank and positioned as required for special applications when needed.
Ultrasonics experienced engineering team is available to design a custom immersible ultrasonic transducer installation for any cleaning or process application.

    What is Ultrasonic Cleaning

In a process termed "cavitation", micron-size bubbles form and grow due to alternating positive and negative pressure waves in a solution. The bubbles subjected to these alternating pressure waves continue to grow until they reach resonant size. Just prior to the bubble implosion, there is a tremendous amount of energy stored inside the bubble itself. Temperature inside a cavitating bubble can be extremely high, with pressures up to 500 atm. The implosion event, when it occurs near a hard surface, changes the bubble into a suction jet about one-tenth the bubble size, which travels at speeds up to 400 km/hr away from the hard surface. With the combination of pressure, temperature, and velocity, the jet frees contaminants from their bonds with the substrate. Because of the inherently small size of the jet and the relatively large energy, ultrasonic cleaning has the ability to reach into small crevices and remove entrapped soils very effectively.

    Applications of Ultrasound-Assisted
    Extraction for Element Speciation

Ultrasound extraction shows advantageous features for element speciation. Organometallic species can be extracted without changes in their integrity under suitable extraction conditions. Both organic and
aqueous extraction media have been used for separation of organometallic and inorganic species from

the solid matrix, most applications using ultrasonic
    cleaning baths for extraction.
