The Cisco GLC-BX40-U compatible SFP transceiver is a single fiber bi-directional 1.25Gbps Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) BIDI module for use in 1000BASE Ethernet and 1G Fiber Channel. It provides up to 40km high-speed data links over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1310nm-TX/1550nm-RX wavelengths via LC simplex connectors.
