This Cisco GLC-BX-20U compatible SFP is a single fiber bidirectional Small Form-factor Pluggable SFP BIDI module for use in 1000BASE Ethernet. This bi-directional SFP module provides 1Gb/s throughput up to 20km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1310nm in the transmitter side and 1550nm in the receiver side. The Cisco SFP transceiver features a highly reliable FP transmitter and PIN photodetector to offer high-performance interconnection at a 1 Gbps data rate.
This 1000BASE-BX SFP transceiver is factory pre-programmed for compatibility, performs identically to original Cisco GLC-BX-20U transceivers.
