Product Presentation of Excavator Boom
The boom of the excavator is made of Q355B steel, which has good
strength and rigidity. The extension arm sleeve is generally made
of 45# steel, lined with 40Cr bushing. Coupled with the lubrication
of butter, the shear force generated by the frequent rotation of
the shaft and the sleeve is reduced, thereby improving the service
life of the sleeve. It is equipped with an extension arm between
the body support and the working arm. The extended arm is connected
and supported by the oil cylinder, which increases the work of the
extended arm oil cylinder and the bucket oil cylinder. There are
corresponding control systems inside and outside the cockpit, and
one set of oil cylinders is matched with one set of oil cylinders.

A1: First, the whole long arm is lengthening, but the boom just
lengthening from its middle sleeve to its end, so the original boom
and stick cylinder can be used. Second, using the original parts
can save you cost.
Q2: How long is the boom arm can min excavator be configured with? Whether it is necessary to increase the counterweight?
A2. Generally speaking, the 30-40 excavator longest arm suggests to
be 8 meters, and can configure 0.1 cbm bucket, with no need for an
extra counterweight. 55 excavator's longest arm suggests to be 12
meters, which can configure 0.1-0.15 cbm bucket, which needs 0.5
ton extra counterweight. 60-80 excavator longest arm suggests to be
12 meters, can configure 0.15-0.25 cbm bucket, need 0.5-0.7 ton
extra counterweight.
It is not recommended to extend boom arm to longes the t length as
mini excavator is easy to slosh.
