Capacitive energy storage stud welding machine is also called capacitance discharge stud welding machine. It is named because its power supply is a capacitor bank. The capcacitor bank as an energy storage element discharges into the space between the stud and the workpiece instantaneously, forming an instantaneous unstable arc process. The end of the stud and the welding area of the workpiece are melted by the arc heat. The stud is inserted into the molten pool under the pressure of the welding gun spring to form a plant welding joint.
