DTF Ink Base Information
Better know as DTF - Direct Transfer Film is a new technology that
gives the advantage to any person to print transfers to decorate on
cotton, polyester, 50/50 blends, leather, nylon, and more without
the need to press A+B papers like in white toner printers. It can
transfer to any material garments. And it is taking the T-shirt
decorative industry to a new level.
What does DTF printer mean?
Direct to Film or DTF is a process that transfers prints onto
fabric or other substrates using a heat-press mechanism. Unlike the
DTG method, which only works on cotton fabrics, the Printer DTF
method can work on cotton and poly blends.The DTF textile printing
ink application is that the ink is printed on the heat transfer
film, and then a layer of hot melt powder is sprinkled on the
surface of the heat transfer film, and then the color is generated
by pressing; while the DTG ink application is directly printed on
the fabric.

Why isn't my HTV sticking to my shirt?
Not enough pressure.First, the most common reason your HTV might
not stick to your shirt, sweater, or anything else you use it on is
probably because you're not using enough pressure. Stress is
important. Your HTV project probably won't last long without it.Our
goods can be transported by sea, air, express, rail, road.
Is the Cricut HTV cool or warm?
Lay the cut design on the substrate with the shiny lining facing
up. Heat as directed (see Heat Transfer Guide). Flip the substrate
over and heat the back of the design as instructed (see Heat
Transfer Guidelines). Use cool skin to remove liner.
Advantages of DTF ink
1. White ink has strong covering power and good whiteness;
2. The compatibility of white ink and color ink is good, and it can
print white ink and color ink with larger amount without mutual
penetration;
3. White ink and color ink are printed on the heat transfer film
with high color density, no whitening, and bright colors;
4. After transfer, the hand feels soft, with good stretchability
and resilience;
5. High color fastness to dry and wet rubbing, color fastness to
washing, and fastness to perspiration (above level 4);
6. The small word print is clear, the powder evenly distributed on
the ink, and the fastness is good.
