Matters needing attention:
■ in order to ensure the accuracy and reproducibility of the test
data, please select uniform substrates and prepare samples
according to the same coating process
■ before use, please immerse the brush in 20 ℃ water for 30min,
then press it to dry, and then immerse it in the prepared cleaning
solution for 10min
■ when the bristles are worn to a length less than 16mm, the brush
must be replaced
■ the result judgment is based on the coating damage in the area
with the middle length of 100mm of the test plate

Description:
The surface to be coated (coating film) needs to be evaluated by
brush, sponge or other methods for its scrub resistance. Therefore,
there is a need for a precision instrument that can produce a
repeatable and controlled condition to simulate the wear pattern of
the coating film every day. The scrub resistance tester designed by
Bagda can effectively evaluate the washability of the coating film
and the performance related to the abrasion resistance of the
coating, and can also evaluate the performance of the detergent by
means of reproduction test.
