LCZ-35Q current transformer is semi-closed insulated cast product, suitable for power metering, current measurement and relay protection in power system with rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and rated voltage of 35kV and below.
This product conforms to IEC44-1 and GB1208 "current transformer".

3.The principle of use

1) The connection of the CT shall comply with the series principle: that is, the primary winding resistance shall be connected in series with the circuit under test, and the secondary winding resistance shall be connected in series with all instrument loads
2) Select appropriate changes according to the measured current, otherwise the error will increase. At the same time, one end of the secondary side must be grounded to prevent the high pressure of the primary side from running into the secondary low pressure side once the insulation is damaged, which may cause personal and equipment accidents
3) The open circuit of the secondary side is absolutely not allowed, because once the open circuit is opened, the current I1 of the primary side will all become the magnetizing current, causing a sharp increase in φm and E2, resulting in oversaturated magnetization of the core, serious heating and even burning the coil; At the same time, over-saturating magnetization of the magnetic circuit increases the error. Current transformer in normal work, the secondary side is akin to short circuit, if all of a sudden make its open circuit, the excitation electromotive force by the numerical small change value of great value in the core flux present serious saturation flat wave, therefore the secondary winding through zero in magnetic induction out high steeple wave, its value can reach thousands or even tens of thousands of volts, Endanger the safety of the staff and the insulation performance of the instrument.
