GPY Series Disc Filter Ore Dressing Equipment Paddle-Type Agitator
1. Purpose
GPY series disc filter is mainly used for the dehydration of
fine-grained materials such as 0~0.5mm flotation clean coal and
tail coal, and can also be used for solid-liquid separation in
metallurgy, chemical industry, petroleum and sewage treatment.
2. Working principle
The filtration process of the disc filter is: under the action of
the pressure difference formed by the vacuum pump, a particle
filter cake is formed on the filter cloth, and the liquid phase is
removed through the filter cake and the filter cloth to achieve
solid-liquid separation, and the filter cake enters the drying
area. Most of the water is removed, and then it enters the blow-off
area. The compressed air generated by the blower blows off part of
the filter cake on the filter disc, and the rest of the filter cake
is discharged by the scraper, which is completed in one cycle.

4. Main Features
(1) The transmission device has a compact structure, reliable
operation and stepless speed regulation;
(2) Equipped with a torque-limiting coupling, which plays the role
of overload protection and ensures the safe and reliable operation
of the main engine;
(3) The central shaft is a welded structure, which is light in
weight, good in rigidity, high in strength and large in filtrate
displacement. The bushing is SP composite material, which is light
in weight and wear-resistant;
(4) The new star point type plastic fan-shaped plate is adopted,
which is light in weight, high in strength, good in hydrophobicity,
high in opening rate, good in dehydration and de-cake effect, low
in filter cake moisture, long in service life, corrosion-resistant
and convenient for decoration;
(5) The filter cloth is woven with stainless steel wire, which has
good filtering effect, low filter cake moisture, high cake removal
rate and long service life;
(6) The paddle-type agitator floating-type sealing stuffing box is
adopted, allowing the agitator shaft to float to a certain extent,
the sealing effect is good, and the sealing parts are easy to
replace;
(7) Combined use of instantaneous air blowing and suspended scraper
unloading device not only has a high unloading rate (up to 90%),
but also the scraper can swing with the filter disc, and the filter
disc is in a good state of force, reducing the load on the host;
(8) In addition to the above advantages, the new GPY20-120 series
products are designed according to the size of the foundation and
the discharge port, which is convenient for the renovation of the
old factory and the renewal of the equipment.
