mist droplets entrained in industrial gases. The working principle
is based on the principle of inertial collision and gravity drop.
When the industrial gas with mist droplets encounters the wire mesh
demister in the process of advancing at a certain speed, the
entrained mist droplets will collide with the filaments of the wire
mesh, and will be adhered by the filaments, while the gas will
continue to move forward; when subsequent droplets continue to
collide, they will condense with the droplets previously attached
to the filament, and the droplets will gradually increase in size.
When the droplet grows large enough to overcome gravity, it falls
off the filament.
