Main features of stepper motors
1. The stepper motor has no accumulated error: the accuracy of the
general stepper motor is three to five percent of the actual step
angle, and it does not accumulate.
2. When the stepping motor is working, the pulse signal is added to
each phase winding in turn in a certain order (the way the winding
is turned on and off is controlled by the ring distributor in the
driver).
3. Even for the same stepping motor, when using different drive
schemes, its torque-frequency characteristics are quite different.
4. Unlike other motors, the stepper motor is only a reference value
for its nominal rated voltage and rated current; and because the
stepper motor is powered by pulses, the power supply voltage is its
highest voltage, not the average voltage.
