Welding Tungsten Electrodes For Welding is an ideal electrode material for plasma arc welding (PAW) and tungsten inert gas/gas tungsten arc welding (TIG/GTAW). Tungsten carbide electrodes provide excellent resistance to weld pool contamination while providing welders with easier arc starting and a more stable arc. It has several physical properties that make it highly desirable for industrial applications. Tungsten has the highest melting point of all pure metals (3,422°C, 6,192°F) and the second highest melting point of all elements. It also has the highest tensile strength and lowest thermal expansion of any pure metal. Tungsten is also a good conductor of electricity.

(1) The melting point is high, the arc is stable, and there is no self-consumption.

(2) Add 0.03 ~ 4% Th02, Zr02, La02 and Ce02 to tungsten to reduce the combustion loss of the tungsten electrode, improve its service life, and avoid contamination of the weld.

All raw materials are tested for metal content before arriving at the factory. The entire electric furnace processing process makes the internal structure more uniform and stable. Each tungsten electrode must go through automatic high-standard eddy current testing before leaving the factory, which ensures the optimization of the product.
