Material: Physical cross-linked polyethylene called IXPE foam

The slotted substrate allows the use of adhesives, directly through the grooves, to bond the wood floor to the bottom layer.This product has all the advantages of using a substrate (heat/insulation/noise reduction) with the added benefit of completely sticking the floor.The slots are filled with adhesive and the floor is laid over the top - cementing the floor to the bottom layer while retaining the liner in the middle.
