1. Product description of disc brake shoe for mining machine spare parts
The brake is realized by the friction of friction, which is a
process of transforming kinetic energy into heat energy. The
friction material used for friction is the first guarantee of the
safety and reliability of the brake. Brake shoe is the main part of
mine hoist brake, if the friction coefficient of brake shoe can not
meet the design requirements, there will be equipment and personal
accidents.
2. Material and characteristics of disc brake shoe for mining machine spare parts
The original brake shoes used in China are mostly made of asbestos
material, which is characterized by high melting point, large
friction coefficient, good mechanical strength, and strong
adsorption with adhesive. But asbestos brake tiles also have
insurmountable disadvantages:
(1) Because of the poor thermal conductivity of asbestos, friction
heat is difficult to disappear quickly, resulting in the thickness
of the thermal recession layer wear aggravation, and pollution of
the environment, especially asbestos fiber dust will make the human
body carcinogenic;
(2) In order to improve the friction coefficient and heat
dissipation performance, most of the use of high hardness friction
agent and steel wool
(3) The strength of asbestos decreases after complete dehydration
and decomposition at 650℃-700℃;
(4) Asbestos is prone to friction "heat recession".
