The design of the foam-filled Fender is highly resistant to environmental hazards such as extreme temperatures, hydrocarbons, fresh and salt water, ozone and ultraviolet radiation. The fender skin is even resistant to chemicals such as diesel fuels. Additionally, since the internal construction consists of a solid heat laminated foam core, there is no need to maintain air pressure, inflation or relief values, as with pneumatic fenders.

Applications of Foam Fender

(1) Applicable for gravity type (abutment) wharf, in particular, wharf with large tide range;
(2) Floating fender is an ideal choice for ship to ship berthing.
(3) When typhoon comes, ships can not leave away from wharf, then large-scale floating fender will present prominent advantage in emergency measures taking.
(4) In case of ship bump accident, as wharf protection equipment, floating fender can start working urgently if other wharf protection settings (e.g.fixed rubber fender) are damaged to reduce stop-production loss to the smallest.
