The IS200BICLH1AEC is a GE created IGBT Drive/Source Bridge PCB
(BICL). This board was created for the Innovation Series.
The main purpose of the IS200BICLH1AEC is to act as a go-between
for an Innovation Series device and a Bridge Personality Interface
PCB (BPIB, SCNV, or BPIA). The BICL normally acts as the interface
between them. It uses an interface that has a system fault display
and a PWM speed control. The card has a serial 1024-bit memory that
possesses information about the board’s identification and
revision.
The only thing on the faceplate of the IS200BICLH1AEC is a label
that tells the user to install the board in Slot 5 only and two
brackets. The label is important because installing the BICL card
into the wrong slot could cause damage to the card or damage to the
card slot. The brackets on the faceplate can help install or remove
the BICL from a card rack. Next to the brackets are two screws that
can be used to further secure the BICL to the rack.
