F-100-2 double convoluted air cushion for pneumatic punch
Air cushions, also known as stretch cushions, are often used when
pressing large parts or deep drawn parts on large pneumatic
punches.
Pneumatic punch airbags are commonly used AIRSUSTECH airbags which
are comparable to Yokohama airbags in Japan.
The air cushion foot is composed of a plane, an air cushion body, a
concave part, a guard edge, a bump, a pressure ring, an air chamber
and an air valve. The air cushion body and the bump are formed with
wear-resistant soft plastic material at one time, which plays a
good supporting role. After the air cushion of the pneumatic punch
press is inflated, the multi-point contact of the bumps instead of
the traditional shock-proof foot surface contact form ensures that
the contact with the punch foundation is more firm and stable. The
high-speed press air-cushion foot fixing ring makes the plane of
the air-cushion body in close contact with the punch base to ensure
that the middle extension of the air-cushion foot is recessed to
form a tight air chamber, so that the cushioning and shock-proof
effect is optimal.
In addition to being used to prevent wrinkling during stretching,
the additional air cushion of the pneumatic punch can also be used
as a top material or for partial forming of the bottom of the
workpiece. After the punch is equipped with a stretching pad, the
scope of use of the punch can be expanded and the air cushion
system can be adjusted. The pressure of the compressed air can
obtain the pressing force suitable for various stamping work, and
the punching air cushion can also play the role of environmental
protection and mute.
