Overcoated Hex Mesh
Plastic-coated gabion mesh is also called green mesh. The pvc
plastic-coated gabion mesh (green mesh) is made of
corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, high-strength, low-carbon,
high-galvanized steel wire or 10% aluminum-zinc dilute alloy-coated
steel wire (or homogenous-coated polymer steel wire). Stranded and
woven into a multi-stranded, hexagonal mesh, the length of the
double-wire hinged part should not be less than 5cm, so as not to
damage the protective coating of the steel wire. Green grids can be
assembled into cages according to engineering design requirements,
and then filled with fillers such as blocks and connected to form a
whole, which is used as a new technology for embankment, roadbed
protection and other projects. If a layer of PVC or PE is coated on
the surface of low carbon high galvanized or 10% aluminum-zinc
dilute alloy steel wire (other polymers cannot be used), the
finished structure will be more rust-proof, anti-static,
anti-aging, corrosion-resistant, With the characteristics of high
compression resistance and high shear resistance, it can
effectively resist seawater or highly polluted environments.
Characteristics of green grid construction gabion structure:
(1) Economy. Just put the stone into the cage and seal it.
(2) The construction is simple and does not require special
technology.
(3) It has a strong ability to resist natural damage, corrosion
resistance and harsh weather.
(4) It can withstand a wide range of deformation without
collapsing.
(5) The silt between the gaps of the cage stones is conducive to
plant production and can be integrated with the surrounding natural
environment.
(6) It has good permeability and can prevent damage caused by
hydrostatic force.
(7) Save transportation costs. It can be folded for transport and
assembled on site.
