The Mitsubishi HC-KFS23B (HCKFS23B) is a Melservo HC series servo
motor with a brake. The servo motor has an output of 200W and a
current of 1.1A, but the current may be permitted to be 3.4A. The
rated speed which is calculated by rotations per minute (rpm) is
3000rpm, while the maximum rotations per minute allowed is 4500rpm.
The HC-KFS23B servo motor is still allowed run at a speed of
5175rpm. The torque is 0.64 (N x m) 90.6 (oz x in); but the maximum
torque is 1.9 (N x m) 269.0 (oz x in).
There are four amplifiers that the HC-KFS23B servo motor with a
brake may link to the MR-J2S-20A, MR-J2S-20B, MR-J2S-CP, and
MR-J2S-CL. The servo motor with brake can attach to the CN2 port of
any of the applicable servo amplifiers with its encoder. The servo
motor may also attach to the U, V, and W screw terminals on the
servo amplifiers. The HC-KFS23B servo motor is a low inertia motor
with a small capacity. A low inertia motor, like the HC-KFS23B
servo motor may connect with a large variety of applications such
as the robots, X-Y tables, and many other machines and devices.
The HC-KFS23B servo motor with a brake has an enclosure rating of
IP55. This rating which has been given preserves the servo motor
with brake from dust which may be deleterious, although it is not
entirely dust resistant. The servo motor is also protected against
water sprayed upon it.
