ZK silicone cold shrink tube is specially designed to ensure a watertight seal for the connector interface that falls within it's size range. Cold shrink tubes made of high performance silicone are typically more weather resistant than your traditional EPDM cold shrink tubes. And with the silicone, we have achieved much higher shrink ratios than traditional EPDM cold shrink and especially heat shrink. Cold shrink is a much quicker weatherproofing solution than butyl, self fusing tape, and heat shrink, as it is applied in one motion by pulling and removing the inner supporting core spiral.
