fire safe requirement of BS 6755 and API 6FA.
The top entry trunnion supported design and unique seat retraction
technique gives the convenience of in-line repair or replace valve
internal components without dismantling it from pipe line.
Because each ball seat shuts off the line fluid independently on
the upstream side, so this series ball valves are suitable for
double block and bleed application.Secondary sealant injection
system for stem and seat is provided for emergency stop of
accidental seat or stem leakage.

Top entry ball valve is mainly applicable for pipeline and industry
system such as petroleum, chemical engineering and nuclear power
plants. Its body adopts an integrated design, reducing leak points.
Its seat design is available for either soft or hard seal, easy for
maintenance. It has a top entry and on line maintenance function.
It has a lot of advantages, such as small fluid resistance, simple
structure, small volume, light weight, reliable sealing,
convenience for operation and maintenance, open and close quickly,
as well as start and close flexibly.
Its most difference from common ball valve is that its maintenance
can be made on pipe line and without dismounting from the pipe
line. The back space seat structure is adopted for the seat and the
rear portion of seat retainer is oblique angle to prevent
accumulation of impurity from affecting back space of seat.
It's featured by its small torque and reliable seal; and unlike
common ball valve types, its seat with a spheroidal structure can
adjust the seal position automatically.

A Ball valve is a quarter-turn rotary motion valve that uses a ball-shaped disk
to stop or start the flow.
It resembles a plug valve in many ways. When a port in the ball is
in line, it allows flow whereas when you
rotate the valve 90 degrees, solid part of the ball stop the flow.
Most ball valves are of the quick-acting type, which requires a 90°
turn of the valve handle to operate the valve.
But in case large size valve which required considerable force to
open or close the valve, the gear-operated
actuator is used. With this arrangement, a small handwheel is
enough to operate a fairly large valve.

Types of Ball Valves:
Although ball valves can be divided into many types based on the
functionality, their major two categories are given below:
Floating Ball Valve:
A floating ball valve does not have any anchor for holding the
ball. However, there is a stem that is attached to the ball.
Due to this reason the fluid freely moves the ball downwards
according to the pressure of the flow. A floating ball valve
is considered a great choice for regulating the flow of the valve.
Trunnion Ball Valve:
Unlike the floating ball valve, trunnion ball valve comes with an
anchor on both sides of the ball. This additional support
provides pivot to the ball and helps contain the huge flow. Due to
this reason, trunnion ball valves are very popular for the
applications, which involve the flow of high-pressure valves.
