Scope of application:
I-beam, also known as steel beam (English name universal beam), is
a long strip of steel with I-shaped section. I-beam is divided into
ordinary I-beam, light I-beam and H-beam. It is a trough shaped
section steel. The flange of ordinary I-beam and light I-beam is of
variable cross-section, which is thick near the web and thin
outside; H-shaped steel: the flanges of H-shaped steel such as HW
HM HN hea Heb hem are equal cross-section ordinary I-shaped steel
and light I-shaped steel, which have formed national standards.
Ordinary 10 # I-shaped steel is equivalent to international I10
(for example, 10 # channel steel is equivalent to channel steel
U10) (because the standards implemented by various countries are
different, there are slight differences in their specifications).
