Product Description

This standard replaces GB/T1196-2002 "Aluminum Ingots for Remelting", GB12768-1991 "Electrical Aluminum Ingots for Remelting", and GB/T8644-2000 "Refined Aluminum Ingots for Remelting".

Compared with GB/T1196-2002, GB12768-1991 and GB/T8644-2000, the main changes of this standard are as follows:

——Integrate the grades of GB/T1196-2002 and GB12768-1991;

——Include the grades of refined aluminum ingots for remelting into YS/T665-2008;

——Delete the Al99.70 grade in GB/T1196-2002 and the Al99.65E grade in GB12768-1991;

——Increase the Al99.6E grade, cancel the word "A" in the original Al99.70A grade, and the other grades remain unchanged;

——Adjusted Si and Cu in Al99.7E in GB12768-1991, and added three impurity elements Mg, Zn and Mn;

——The heavy metal elements Cd, Pb and As were re-specified, and the requirements for Hg were increased;

——Re-specified B, Cr and Mn+Ti+Cr+V in Al99.7E and Al99.6E;

- The product labeling has been re-stipulated.

Packing and Storing
We have used a healthy mix of automation and manual labor to ensure minimal wastage and proper packaging and storing. Fork lifts are used both for handling scrap and finished products. The Ingots are marked, packaged and stored in clean and safe company warehouses.
