An important characteristic of corten steel is that the fire bowl does not rust and can therefore remain outside in all weathers.Corten steel generates a rusty appearance which protects the integrity of the steel, so it will last for many years. The rust will develop naturally over a couple of months, but please be aware that this can stain.
